Originally built as a "House of Dreams" for a lottery several years ago, this home in Burnaby Heights was showcasing high-end but out-dated luxuries. The new owners recognized its great bones and potential – the house just needed a little updating. Some of the home's endearing features were kept and incorporated into the new design. Wood paneling, kitchen trim and the main fireplace were painted white, while we replaced the kitchen cabinet doors and added new custom cabinetry throughout. Italian Statuario marble from the family's homeland accentuates the bathrooms, fireplace surround and kitchen. Adding contrast to the crisp, white marble and trim are rich, dark-stained wood cabinets and floors. The result is an elegant, sophisticated and timeless home that showcases the luxuries of our time.
