This Kerrisdale project was a full-service commission where I provided architectural consulting, interior design, furnishing and styling. The goal was to recreate the charm of an old Vancouver house  (the clients had both grown up in this style of home, which felt good to them) while ensuring the home met all of today's needs and delivered timeless, classic design. Traditional details such as solid oak hardwood floors, hand-painted ceramic tile, crystal accents, and layered mouldings are found throughout. The furnishings represent the clients' more whimsical side and are a blend of classic, contemporary and mid-century modern pieces. Another nod to present day design is the blending of the rooms, which along with extra high ceilings provide a feeling of spaciousness.
